About 1.4% of people carry Lunar Authority — the doorway through which deep wisdom becomes accessible to Reflectors. When no centers in the chart are defined, the Reflector lives by the Moon’s twenty-eight-day transit through the sixty-four Gates as the source of cyclic illumination. Only Reflectors can carry this Authority.
Lunar Authority works through time. The wisdom reveals itself gradually — through the Moon’s monthly journey across the Reflector’s chart, illuminating different gates and creating different temporary definitions as it moves. What emerges is the fluid expression of the design, with the full picture only available after the full cycle has been lived.
How It Speaks
Each Reflector’s chart is a particular constellation of activated gates that, on their own, do not form channels or defined centers. What the design holds is a configuration of points that come alive when the Moon’s transit reaches them.
Over twenty-eight days, the Moon moves through each of the sixty-four Gates in the Mandala, activating each in turn. As the Moon reaches a gate the Reflector’s chart carries, that gate is temporarily defined. When the Moon’s position completes a channel with another of the Reflector’s gates, that channel temporarily activates — and so do the centers it connects. For a few days, the Reflector experiences themselves with a particular definition. Then the Moon moves on, and a different aspect of the design lights up.
This rolling illumination is what produces the Reflector’s clarity over time. A decision held through a full lunar cycle is held through every facet of the Reflector’s design — every gate, every potential channel, every momentary definition. Each phase of the cycle offers a different reading, and the full reading is what tells the truth. Decisions made in a single moment — under a single lunar configuration — are made from only one part of the design. They tend to be incomplete.
Reflectors are designed to know themselves the way the sea lives — moved by a cyclical pull that no part of them can override, gathering and releasing in time with something larger than themselves.
How You Access It
You access this Authority through the lunar cycle itself. The Moon’s twenty-eight-day transit is not background to your decision-making. It is the mechanism through which your design becomes legible to you.
For major decisions, this means giving the question the full cycle to move through your design. You sit with it. You notice what arises at the new moon, at the first quarter, at the full moon, at the last quarter — and at the dozens of subtler positions in between. Each phase shows you something different about the same decision. By the time the cycle completes, you have read the decision through every part of your design, and what remains true across all of it is what is true.
Environment matters profoundly here. Your aura samples everything around you — every space, every person, every energetic field. The same decision considered in a wrong environment reads differently than in a right one. Part of accessing this Authority is paying close attention to where you are and who you are with as the cycle unfolds, and being willing to move yourself into environments that let your reading be clear.
Trusted conversations often serve this design as well. Speaking with people who can listen without trying to steer you helps surface what each phase of the cycle is showing you. You are not asking them to decide. You are using their presence to hear your own emerging clarity over time.
Living by It
The central challenge of Lunar Authority is that the world expects decisions on a much shorter timeline than the Moon. Twenty-eight days is a long time to hold an open question. The pressure to commit, to answer, to choose — comes constantly, and the conditioned mind will reach for an answer just to release the pressure. That answer almost always comes from a single phase of the cycle, which means it is incomplete.
The practice is patience that other Authorities do not require. Not stalling, not avoiding, but actually giving the question the time it needs to reveal itself through your full design. Most Reflectors learn this slowly, often after years of making important decisions too quickly and watching them not hold. The lessons land deep, and over time, the willingness to wait becomes its own kind of confidence.
There is something quietly remarkable about the cycle itself. Each lunar month, the same sequence of activations runs again — your design becomes legible to you in the same pattern, repeatedly. You begin to know your own design through this repetition. You learn what your chart sounds like under each part of the cycle. Decisions get clearer not just within a single cycle, but across many cycles, as you become familiar with the way your own design reads under each lunar position.

When Lunar Authority is honored, what emerges is something no other design produces — a clarity that has integrated every part of the Reflector’s design before settling.
